The protracted economic blockade imposed by Azerbaijan is bringing 120,000 indigenous Armenians to the brink of economic collapse and humanitarian disaster. When the only road connecting Armenia to Artsakh reopens, AGBU is prepared to accelerate recovery from the economic, physical and psycho-social setbacks that this brave community will have endured. Learn more about the current crisis.
Our work in Artsakh and for those who are still displaced in Armenia continues with distribution of goods and ongoing assistance programs. Please consider a contribution to our Global Relief Fund at this time.
The heavy toll of fallen and injured soldiers left children suffering deep trauma. In 2021, we launched Camp Nairi, a free summer retreat which includes activities and sessions with licensed mental health experts. Outreach continues throughout the year with events and distribution of goods. We have also maintained programing during the Artsakh blockade.
