This week, Armenia presented its oral arguments before the International Court of Justice in The Hague, requesting that the Court issue an urgent order for Azerbaijan to lift its blockade of the Lachin Corridor and cease disrupting the supply of gas and other critical public infrastructure, including electricity.

The Armenian side, partly represented by lawyer Lawrence Martin, also described the role of the Azerbaijani state-sponsored actors blocking the road and the imminent humanitarian catastrophe that awaits if free movement is not restored. Shifting blame to Russian Peacekeepers for the blockade while arguing the road is open, Azerbaijan presented a counter to Armenia's case riddled with contradictions and mistruths.
